Helpful Information

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Most breast lumps are not cancerous. However, any new or persistent breast lump should be assessed by a breast specialist so that the cause can be identified and you can receive appropriate advice.

You should seek assessment for a new breast lump, persistent breast pain, nipple discharge, nipple inversion, a change in breast shape, skin dimpling or redness, swelling in the armpit, or any breast change that is new or worrying to you.

Our aim is to make breast assessment as convenient as possible. Depending on your symptoms and clinical needs, your visit may include consultation and examination, breast imaging such as ultrasound or mammography, and biopsy when required.

Triple assessment combines clinical examination, breast imaging and, when indicated, a needle biopsy. Together, these help specialists accurately investigate a breast lump or other concerning breast symptom.

Patients can contact Nisa Breast Care & Cosmetic Center directly for an appointment. Our team can guide you to the most appropriate clinic or specialist for your concern.

No. We provide care for a wide range of breast concerns, including breast lumps, breast pain, infections, nipple problems and other benign breast conditions, as well as breast cancer, reconstruction and aesthetic breast concerns.

Oncoplastic surgery combines breast cancer surgery with plastic surgical techniques. Where appropriate, it allows the cancer to be removed while also considering breast shape, symmetry and appearance.

Yes. Reconstruction options can be discussed as part of an individualised treatment plan. The most appropriate approach depends on your cancer treatment, breast anatomy, general health and personal preferences.

Yes. Nisa provides specialist assessment for procedures such as breast reduction, breast uplift, breast augmentation, correction of breast asymmetry and selected corrective procedures following previous breast surgery.

Yes. You can arrange a specialist second opinion regarding breast imaging, biopsy results, breast cancer surgery, reconstruction or an existing treatment plan. Bringing your previous reports and imaging can make the consultation more useful.

Breast cancer care benefits from multidisciplinary decision-making. Where appropriate, cases are reviewed with relevant specialists so that recommendations consider the different aspects of diagnosis and treatment.

Feeling worried before a breast appointment is very common. Our team will explain each step, listen to your concerns and give you the opportunity to ask questions. Our aim is to provide care in a private, respectful and reassuring environment.
