Vertical reduction mammoplasty: A type of oncoplastic breast surgery that involves making an incision around the areola and extending it to the lower part of the breast, removing the cancer and some of the surrounding tissue, and reshaping the breast by removing excess skin and tissue from the lower part of the breast and lifting the breast.

Wise pattern therapeutic mammoplasty: A type of oncoplastic breast surgery that involves making an incision around the areola and extending it to the lower part of the breast and along the inframammary fold, removing the cancer and some of the surrounding tissue, and reshaping the breast by removing excess skin and tissue from the lower and outer part of the breast and lifting the breast.
